SU Ag Center breaks ground for school garden in Lake Charles

John J. Johnson Elementary School recently received a mini grant from
Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center to
establish a model community garden. On December 3, 2012, SU Ag Center
administrators joined the grant project director Carol Sensley, school
principal Tiffany Washington, and other community partners, for the
groundbreaking ceremony at the school.
