SULC Recent Developments CLE Seminar, December 6-7

The SULC Recent Developments CLE Seminar set for Friday and Saturday, December 6-7, 2013, will offer participants up to 12.5 hours of CLE credits, including one hour of ethics and one hour of professionalism.
The seminar will begin each day at 9 a.m., with registration at 8:30 a.m. in the Edward L. Patterson Moot Courtroom.
Friday's topics and presenters will be Workers' Compensation 101, Frank Brown, 9:10 a.m.; A Primer on Louisiana's New Tax Credit Registry Act, professor Christopher K. Odinet, 10-11 a.m.; Constitutional Law Updates, professor Herbert Brown, 11:05 a.m.-12:35 p.m.; Jury Selection: Voir Dire, Donald Dobbins, 1:35-3:05 p.m.; Ethics, Afi Patterson, 3:05-4:05 p.m.; Mediation 101, professor Alvin Washington, 4:05-5:05 p.m.
On Saturday, topics and presenters will be Access to Visitation, Mandatory, and the Self-Presented Litigation, Natasha Carter Benoit, 9-10:30 a.m.; Recent Updates in Family Law, Judge Luke A. LaVergne, 10:30-noon; Professionalism, professor Regina Ramsey James, 12:15-1:15 p.m.; and Recent Updates in Civil Procedure, professor Cynthia N. Reed, 1:15-2:45 p.m.
