Enrollment
Management Philosophy
“Enrollment
Management” is both a concept and a process. Organizational
structures become transparent, while offices and divisions
work synergistically to improve services and allow for the
strategic management of enrollments At Southern university
System, our goal is to develop a systematic set of activities
to enable our campuses to exert more influence over their
enrollments.
Our
major goal is to ensure that our enrollment management activities
are organized by strategic planning research and supported
by institutional research. Our enrollment management activities
concern student college choice, the transition to college,
student retention, and student outcomes. These processes
are studied to guide campus practice in the areas of recruitment
and financial aid, student services, curriculum development
and other academic areas that affect enrollments, student
persistence, and student outcomes from college.
