Local law firms establish endowed scholarship

Representatives from three local law firms recently established a $100,000 endowed scholarship at the Southern University Law Center. The Brady, Baudin, McKernan, and Pendley Endowed Scholarship will be earmarked for students interested in careers in civil rights and public interest law.

The representatives and their law firms are Stan P. Baudin, '94, and Patrick W. Pendley of Pendley, Baudin & Coffin, LLP; Gordon J. McKernan of the McKernan Law Firm, PLLC; and Scott E. Brady, '97, of the Brady Law Firm, LLC. Baudin and Brady graduated as the top students in their respective classes at the Law Center.
