SU president finds company among Ebony's 'Power 150'

SU President Ralph Slaughter

SU System President Ralph Slaughter is listed among "Ebony Power 150" in the may issue of Ebony magazine. Slaughter is listed with an elite group of organization leaders and chief executive officers of national groups. Slaughter is Imperial Potentate, AEAONMS (Shriners).

Slaughter has served as the Grand Master and Chief Executive Officer of the Prince Hall Masons of Louisiana. The Prince Hall Grand Lodge is one of the oldest and largest organizations in the State. The Prince Hall Masons have provided fraternal, charitable, and civic services to the communities in the State of Louisiana for more than 150 years.

He was listed on Ebony magazine's list of the "100 Most Influential African American Leaders," 2005 and 2006.
