football players score Classic victory in defeat of
Grambling's Tigers
 The
Senior co-captains Jarmaul George and Gerard Landry
led Southern onto the field with two huge school flags.
They could have passed the flag around
for the next 60 minutes, because the Jaguars strung
together a host of efforts in all phases to beat 16th-ranked
Grambling, 22-13, in Bayou Classic XXXIV on Saturday
in the Superdome.
