New scholarship established in honor of late judge

Four Louisiana judges have helped create the Honorable Alvin B. Rubin Memorial Scholarship at the Southern University Law Center.

United States Middle District Court Judges Ralph Tyson, James Brady, Frank Polozola, and John Parker established and provided underwriting for the scholarship valued is $5,000 annually.

Judge Alvin Rubin was on the first faculty of law at Southern 60 years ago.
