Transition center marks two-year anniversary

Southern University, Shreveport’s Center for Transitional and Relief Services sponsored a panel discussion on Hurricane Katrina to mark its second anniversary in late August.

The discussion featured statements from Krystle Beauchamp of the Louisiana Recovery Authority, State Sen. Lydia Jackson, Sandy Davis of the Caddo-Bossier Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, and Terri Brook of Hope for the Homeless.

“Reflect, Renew, Rebuild: Our Challenge” was the focus of a related panel discussion.
