Assistant/Associate Professor of Animal Science

Job Description:

The position is a nine (9) month, academic year, tenure track appointment as Assistant/Associate Professor of Animal Science. The successful candidate will be engaged in teaching undergraduate level courses in areas such as Animal Nutrition, Meat Science, Poultry Science, Breeding and Genetics, Animal Behavior, Equine Production, Beef Cattle Production and Anatomy & Physiology that support the Agricultural Sciences programs. In addition to student learning activities, the successful candidate is expected to develop and maintain a translational  research program relative to the field and publish results in refereed journals. The candidate is also expected to seek and acquire externally funded grants and contracts for relevant research projects, and participate in department, college, university, community and professional service. 

Minimal Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Animal Science and closely related field.

Preferably, candidates must have at least 2-5 years minimum experience of teaching at the undergraduate and or graduate level.
