Chairperson, Undergraduate Nursing Program

Job Description:

Under the general direction of the Dean, School of Nursing, the Chairperson of the undergraduate program in nursing will provide overall leadership, direction, and management of the program.  The Chairperson, will be expected to direct continued development of the undergraduate program, facilitate research, scholarly activity and grants.  He/she will be responsible for the delivery of quality education and prepare future clinicians/faculty.  In addition, this individual will be responsible for staffing and staff supervision, budgets and day to day operations

 Minimal Qualifications

Minimal rank at the level of Associate Professor, holds a terminal degree in nursing. Minimum of two years teaching experience at the level of assistant professor, and a current license with certification in the field. Prior administrative experience in academia preferred; and excellent oral, written, and communication skills.
