Associate Professor of Public Policy

Job Description:

The Nelson Mandela College of Government and Social Sciences at Southern University A&M College is seeking well qualified full-time Associate Professor to support the Executive Ph.D. Weekend Program.  Position is tenure track and begins January 2022. Salary is competitive.

A successful applicant must possess a terminal degree in Public Policy or related field with Statistics/Methodology as area of expertise. The applicant is expected to teach, advise, and supervise doctoral students’ research projects. The salary will be commensurate with an applicant’s experience and overall scholarly portfolio.


Minimal qualifications:

The applicant must possess a Ph.D. degree in Public Policy or related discipline. The applicant must also have strong credentials in statistics, methodology and be able to teach seminar courses.
