Region 2 Coordinator
Works for the Communities of Color Network program to work collaboratively with members of the Community, organizations, and partners to increase the awareness of the dangers of tobacco use and exposure to secondhand smoke and to increase the utilization of cessation services among Louisiana's Communities of Color, in particular; the African American communitiy, and other communities of color in Region 2-Ascension, Iberville, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Point Coupee, West Baton Rouge, West Feliciana, St. James and Assumption.
Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Public Policy or related field required or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Five years of relevant professional experience required
Experience working on health-related community change, outreach, mobilization, and/pr capacity building programs.
Residence in one of the DOH Region 2 parishes required (Ascension, Iberville, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Point Coupee, West Baton Rouge, West Feliciana, St. James and Assumption).
