Job Description for Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of multiple TRIO programs. This role requires strong organizational skills, professional communication (both written and verbal), and the ability to coordinate workflow using established internal procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess working knowledge of Southern University policies and procedures, including financial data systems and HR hiring protocols, and must be able to maintain accurate physical and electronic records.
This position supports the administrative needs of four TRIO programs—Ascension, Concordia, Empower, and Experience—and plays a key role in maintaining consistent, high-quality services across all projects.
