SULC | Financial Aid Counselor | Position: Full-Time | Salary: $55,000 - $72,000 | Application Deadline: December 8, 2025

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The SULC Financial Aid Counselor works with all facets of financial aid: awarding, counseling, verification, packaging, grants, scholarships, and compliance for federal, state, and institutional aid. Assist students in resolving problems and selecting appropriate solutions and courses of action; Evaluates students' needs; Maintain a current knowledge of state and federal funding programs, policies, and regulations; professional memberships; attending conferences and workshops; Conduct annual financial aid workshops/events and participate in student activities; Attend meetings, webinars, and training sessions; Work in collaboration with the SUBR campus Financial Aid Office; perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of experience.
