This Custodian 2 maintains the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of Southern University Laboratory School.

Minimum Qualifications

Six months of experience in custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or food service work.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:
- Empty trash/recycling, replace liners
- Disinfect high-touch points(door handles, light switches, desks, shared tech, sink faucets)
- Wipe down desks, tables, white boards/chalkboards
- Sweep/vacuum floors, damp mop hard floors
- Spot clean walls and windows
- Clean and disinfect toilets, urinals, sinks, and mirrors
- Refill soap, paper towels, and toilet paper dispensers
- Empty trash bins
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces (doorknobs, stall handles)
- Mop floors with disinfectant solution
- Clean and disinfect gym equipment
- Dust/Mop floors
- Empty trash receptacles
- Wipe down display boards and touch able wall surfaces
- Empty trash bins and sanitize each
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces (doorknobs, cafeteria tables)
- Mop floors with disinfectant solution
- Wipe down and disinfect desks, countertops, and high-touch areas
- Empty trash/recycling bins
- Vacuum carpets, mop hard floors
- Clean interior glass surfaces and doors
- Empty exterior trash receptacles
- Police grounds for litter and debris

Day Shift-6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Compensation: The starting salary is $ 10.70/hour.
