Job Description:
The Traffic and Parking Office Assistant issues campus parking passes, receives payments by money order and credit/debit cards, and provides a Bursar's Office receipt. The Traffic and Parking Office Assistant provides accurate and comprehensive information regarding parking rules, regulations, and campus directions. Utilize the TicketTrak System to input and retrieve vehicular, permit, and other information. Transmit and receive information from the officer by two-way radio. Transmit payments to the Bursar's Office daily.
Job Responsibilities:
- Issue parking passes for students, faculty, visitors, contractors, temporary staff, and special events.
- Access parking records, assess parking fines, receive payment, and transmit payments to the Bursar's Office.
- Answer parking-related questions and explain parking rules and regulations in person or by telephone.
- Transmit and receive routine and emergency information by two-way radio.
- Other duties as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- GED/High School Diploma
- One to three years or more of experience
- Specific experience in office management
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
- Specific experience in Criminal Justice
- Three to five years or more of experience
