Overview

The Southern University at Shreveport Chancellor Search Committee welcomes and encourages the participation and input of the entire Southern University community in the search for chancellor of its nationally recognized community college. This website serves as a resource for applicants and interested parties to obtain information regarding the position and the application process.

The Southern University and A&M College System is the only Historically Black system of higher education in the nation. The System consists of academic campuses in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Shreveport, as well as law and agricultural centers located in Baton Rouge.

The successful applicant will serve as the chief executive officer of the Shreveport campus and is responsible for the administration of all activities of the campus including, but not limited to, academic, financial, student, administrative affairs and other support activities.
