Job Description:

This position reports directly to the Bursar and will be responsible for all aspects of Management within the Bursar's Office including daily student analyses, working with the Department of Justice, prior term refunds, and reconciliations and managing the day to day activities in the Bursar's Office. This position is also responsible for processing all Transact System activities, which include the following: Managing the payment plans, communicating with students, and communicating with internal and external parties. This position provides customer service to internal and external customer inquiries. Oversee the collection of outstanding balance to minimize profits while ensuring appropriate handling per University policy. Assist with researching cash management issues. Create and implement strategies to increase the successful operations within the Bursar's Office. Develop goals that complement the business goals of the University and coordinate staff to continually meet and exceed goals. Generate reports and analyze data pertaining to the department. Responsible for preparing related reconciliations and other tasks assigned by the University's administration.

Minimal Qualifications:

This position requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in business, accounting or related field. Higher education experience preferred. Strong account reconciliations and analytical skills. Excellence in customer service skills and the ability to work well with others.
