Program Administrative Specialist
Job Description:
Provides support functions to assist the Executive Director/Administrator in day to day program operations and supervision of routine functions that may include, but are not limited to: Maintaining administrative records for time, travel, and expenses of program staff; Preparing and supervising office records/files, letters, invoices, and purchasing of supplies and equipment; Planning and monitoring of budgets and operating expenses; Assessing technology functions for program accountability and grant reporting; Serving as chaperon for middle/high school students' tours and field trips, in-and out-of-state: Assisting project coordinators in development of workshop scheduling and presentations as needed; and Maintaining viable rapport in target area schools and communities.
Minimal Qualifications:
Bachelor's, Associate Degree or Certification in business management or related fields; Five years of professional, responsible secretarial/clerical experience as a major duty, with basic accounting knowledge; Computer knowledge above basic word processing; Experience and training in electronic accountability/management systems; Excellent public relation skills; Effective written and oral communication skills; and Ability to travel for two or three night stays to serve as chaperon.
