THIS POSITION IS LOCATED AT THE CAMPUS POLICE DEPARTMENT.
There is a Special Entrance Rate $19.88/hour for this position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any college hours or degree must be from a school accredited by one of the following regional accrediting bodies: the Middle States Commission on Higher Education; the New England Commission of Higher Education; the Higher Learning Commission; the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities; the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools; and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
To provide a full range of police services by enforcing state, federal, and local laws and campus regulations through active foot patrols and mobile patrols.

Experienced.
Supervision Received:
General from a higher-level police official.
Supervision Exercised:
None.

Statewide.
Job Distinctions:
Differs from Police Officer 1-A by the presence of experienced level duties.
Differs from Police Officer 2 by the presence of certain regularly occurring duties as listed on the allocation criteria memo.
Differs from Police Officer 3-A by the absence of lead worker responsibility or by routine involvement in specialized assignments involving serious and complex police problems and operations.
Provides first aid and emergency services.
Investigates accidents, enforces parking and traffic regulations, and campus regulations.
Conducts crime prevention and security programs, guard service, and directs traffic.
Maintains logs of radio, telephone, and teletype activities and monitors alarm systems and other police radio frequencies.
Operates police network computers and dispatches police officers in response to calls.
