JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Student Success Administrator will enhance the overall student experience by providing targeted support and resources to help students succeed academically, socially, and personally. The administrator will manage the Accuplacer testing for all semesters, support student retention and engagement by working directly with at-risk students, and ensure they have access to tools and strategies that promote student success. The administrator will also provide comprehensive support to the office of Academic Affairs with all student success and related programs and activities, organize and coordinate meetings, and prepare agendas, materials, and minutes.
JOB DUTIES:
- Administer and supervise all comprehensive testing and assessment services, ensuring a standardized and secure testing environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to testing and tutoring services, answering questions and providing guidance to students, faculty, and staff.
- Manage the scheduling and coordination of all testing activities, including placement exams, accommodation testing, and proctored assessments.
- Prepare reports, documents, and correspondence related to testing outcomes, tutoring performance, and departmental activities.
- Develop, recommend, and implement policies, procedures, and processes to support testing operations in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and external regulations related to testing services.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Student Success Center, including scheduling meetings and maintaining records.
- Assist in the coordination of student success programs, academic recovery and intervention efforts, and events to foster academic achievement and community engagement.
- Collect and assist with the analysis of student success data to inform decision-making and program development.
- Assist the Office of Academic Affairs with all student success and related programs and activities. o Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Organize and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, materials, and minutes.
- Overseeing administrative tasks, managing project deadlines, and providing logistical support for special events or initiatives within the department.
- Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Three years of experience.
