On behalf of the Southern University System — the nation's only historically Black university system — we extend our sincere gratitude to Governor Jeff Landry and the Louisiana Legislature for your continued support and commitment to higher education. Your investment in our five campuses enables us to advance our mission of academic excellence, research, and service to the citizens of Louisiana and beyond.

We are especially grateful for the additional funding allocated for academic programs, deferred maintenance, athletics, and general operations, as well as the meaningful policy changes enacted during this session. These critical resources strengthen our ability to educate and empower the next generation of leaders.
