The meeting is an excellent venue to celebrate scientific excellence in Louisiana and to foster discussion among peer groups of scientists. The LAS encourages especially presentations from both undergraduate and graduate students as the annual conference is a supportive environment in which students will have an opportunity to hone their presentation skills, make connections with other scientists in their field, and become informed about study and research opportunities within the State.
