Assistant/Associate Professor of Agriculture Economics
Job Description:
The Department of Agricultural Sciences and Technology at Southern University and A&M College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position as an Assistant or Associate Professor in Agriculture Economics. The position is intended to be filled at the Assistant Professor level, however, highly qualified candidates may be considered for the Associate level. This tenure track position will teach ungraduated level courses in Agribusiness, is expected to contribute expertise to student advising and is also expected to seek and acquire external funding and contracts for relevant research projects, and participate in department, college, university, community and professional service activities. The opportunity to explore a research appointment with the Southern University Agricultural Research & Extension Center may be available.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D in Agriculture Economics, Agriculture Business or related discipline
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in an Agricultural Sciences Appropriate discipline
