Assistant Professor of English
Assistant Professor of English to teach undergraduate English courses.
Minimum qualifications:
Ph.D. in Literature with a concentration in African American Literature and experience teaching college-level courses. ABD candidates with a firm dissertation defense date may be considered.
Additionally, a record of excellent college teaching; experience in teaching general education classes; ability to teach majors and courses as needed by the department; evidence of scholarly presentation and publication potential; knowledge of the application of technology to enhance teaching and learning; and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
