What is my Universal login for Moodle? 

MySU Login Credentials

Username: firstname.lastname@sus.edu

Password: brow1234

The password is the first 4 characters of your last name and the last four digits of your U-number:

Name: Jane Brown

U-number: XXXXX1234

Password: brow1234

Or

Name: John Doe

U-number: XXXXX1234

Password: doe1234

If someone else already in the system has the same name use the following number format: 01, 02, 03, etc. at the end of last name.

What should I do if there is an issue with what's posted in my course? 

You will need to contact the professor of the course. 

 

 

How do I send an email to a professor or student via Moodle? 

This can be accomplished a couple of ways.

You can send an email to a professor or student by clicking on that person's name in the Participants listing or
Send a message: Click Messages under the profile picture. Type in the user’s name. Type your message and press Send

 

What browser should I use with Moodle? 

Moodle is compatible with any standards compliant web browser. We regularly test Moodle with the following browsers:  

  • Desktop: Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Internet Explorer,

  • Mobile: Mobile Safari, Google Chrome 

 

Is there a Moodle mobile app? 

Yes, the Moodle app is available for Android and IOS devices. Once downloaded

 

How do I backup and restore my course?
