SU to host elected officials conference Feb. 25

The Nelson Mandela School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs at Southern University, Baton Rouge, will sponsor a statewide elected officials' conference in the Royal Cotillion Ballroom of the Smith-Brown Memorial Student Union on Friday, February 25, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The purpose of the conference, "Higher Education in Louisiana: Saving Our Southern," is to focus attention on the solutions to the problems that are impacting higher education and the corresponding issues citizens of Louisiana are now facing.

Caroline Fayard will be the noon speaker.
