SUSLA energy camp scheduled June 3-7

Southern University Shreveport will host Energy Camp Louisiana June 3-7, 2013, at the main campus. The camp is open to all Caddo parish high school students.

The camp is designed to teach high school students about the different types of energy, energy conservation, and efficiency as well as energy-related careers. During the week-long camp, students participate in hands-on experiments, energy discussions, interactive computer games, and win prizes for "best in class" team efforts.

Schedule is 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Thursday and 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Friday. Space is limited. There is a $25 non-refundable registration fee. Lunch and limited transportation is provided.
