SU Class of '64 grads to celebrate golden anniversary, May 8-9

Graduates of the Southern University Baton Rouge Class of 1964 are planning a golden anniversary celebration May 8-9, 2014.

The commemoration will be in conjunction with the University’s Centennial Celebration for the Baton Rouge campus. The University was founded in New Orleans in 1880 and was relocated to Scott's Bluff in Baton Rouge in 1914.

A reception for the class reunion is scheduled Thursday, May 8, and a special commemoration will take place during spring commencement exercises Friday, May 9, in the F.G. Clark Activity Center.
