SU System announces mid-day closures due to inclement weather forecast for the Baton Rouge and New Orleans areas today

As South Louisiana prepares for inclement weather, campuses of the Southern University System (SUS) in Baton Rouge and New Orleans have announced early closures and class cancellations to ensure the safety of our students, faculty, and staff.

Southern University System campuses in Baton Rouge and New Orleans will close at noon today.

Southern University Baton Rouge (SUBR), Southern University Law Center (SULC), the Southern University Ag Center, and Southern University New Orleans will close at noon.

The Southern University Laboratory School is closed for the entire day.

All students, faculty, and staff on these campuses are asked to monitor their University email accounts, the University's social media sites, and local news to get updates and announcements.
