SU 'Human Jukebox' will march in Zion Tabernacle Bayou Classic Christian Fellowship Parade, Saturday, Nov. 18, in Lake Charles

The Southern University Marching Band, the "Human Jukebox,” will participate in the annual Zion Tabernacle Bayou Classic Christian Fellowship Parade, Saturday, November 18, 2017, in Lake Charles.

The Southern University Alumni Federation’s Lake Charles Alumni Chapter invites alums, fans, friends, and supporters to the annual event that celebrates the Southern University Jaguars vs. Grambling State Tiger football game which will be played Saturday, November 25, 2017, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

"The Southern University 'Human Jukebox' and Fabulous Dancing Dolls are excited to perform in the Zion Tabernacle Christian Fellowship Parade. We are confident that the Lake Charles community will enjoy our performance,” said Nation Haymer, SU director of bands.

The "Human Jukebox" drum major for this year is Lake Charles native Tre'Von S. Ceasar, a 2015 honor graduate of Washington-Marion Magnet High School. Ceasar is currently a sophomore psychology major at SU.

"We look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of this young man here in Lake Charles, and your support in making this a historical event in the area,” said Raymond M. Fondel Jr., vice president, Southern University Alumni
