Southern University alumna Charlotta Carter charts path to success for black women in STEM

One African-American woman in STEM who has charted a path to a successful STEM-centered career is California-based GRI Technology Solutions, LLC President and CEO Charlotta Carter.

Carter began her pathway to success with a bachelor's degree in computer science earned from Southern University in 1981, and in the course of her career, she has become a key figure in growing diversity talent in the Silicon Valley and in Canada.
