Job Description:

The Communication Specialist assists with the execution of the communications strategy within the Office of Communications and External Affairs and works closely with staff to develop stories, organize social media initiatives, and assist with print and electronic publication.

 

Job Duties:

  • Develop, research, and write content for the Law Center's website, social media, and external media. This includes profile summaries of faculty research, profiles of our faculty, announcements of faculty and student awards and accomplishments, and other internal and external marketing materials.
  • Develop a social media plan and calendar.
  • Create content for and monitor the Law Center's social media channels.
  • Assist with graphic design requests.
  • Assist with planning and attending Law Center and external events.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience
