JOB DESCRIPTION:
Recruiter of Undergraduate Admissions represents Southern University to prospective students and organizations and works to increase inquiries and convert applications into enrolled students. Partners with the Admissions Team to develop strategies and tactics designed to reach aggressive recruitment goals. The successful Recruiter of Undergraduate Admissions exhibits superior supervisory, customer service, and professional skills throughout daily interactions and communications with students, including interviews, phone calls, emails, and information sessions. Assist in creating and implementing recruitment strategies to reach prospective students through events, referrals, online and print communications, and outreach to external individuals and groups. An Admissions Recruiter must be able to travel to school admissions fairs and events. Must demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members, faculty, students, alumni, administrators, and staff.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel to school admissions fairs and community events. Communicate with prospective students, parents, and community members through appointments, telephone, email, and other mediums.
- Assist in the development of enrollment marketing publications and communications, including letters, brochures, email campaigns, and social media posts.
- Utilize Slate and Banner CRM systems for tracking and managing student data, generating reports, and improving communication and outreach efforts.
- Present information about the benefits of a Southern University education at high schools, community colleges, and on-campus events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, community colleges, and community organizations to build partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal departments to create strategic enrollment plans using data-driven insights from CRM systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Earned a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- At least one (1) or more years of experience
