Mr. Donald Ray Henry

Donald Ray Henry has had a distinguished career in public service, ministry, and leadership. He worked for 27 years at Noranda Aluminum, including a period as a teacher at Donaldsonville High School during the Noranda strike. From 2007 to 2011, he served as pastor of The Word of Faith Christian Center in Gonzales, Louisiana, leading worship services and managing church operations. As a political consultant, Donald developed campaigns, coordinated staff, and promoted candidates. A dedicated union member, he served on the executive board of Local 5702 and is affiliated with the AFL-CIO. For the past seven years, he has been the Executive Director of the Lafourche Basin Conservation Levee and Drainage District.
Donald holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern University, a Bachelor of Religious Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary, and completed additional studies at LSU.
