Mr. Aaron Manzy

Aaron Manzy, a native of Athens, Georgia, is a third-year law student at Southern University Law Center, where he has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to advocacy, leadership, and academic excellence. He has earned multiple awards in Mock Trial competitions and has been recognized for his scholarly achievements throughout law school.
Mr. Manzy has served as a Fellow with both the Black Public Defender Association, Orleans Public Defenders and the Georgia Public Defender Council, gaining valuable experience in client-centered representation and systemic legal reform. Currently in his final year, he holds several prominent leadership roles, including President of the Student Bar Association, Editor-in-Chief of the Public Defender Newspaper, and member of the Trial Advocacy Board’s trial team.
Drawing on his background as an educator, and law student; Aaron brings a client-centered and empathetic approach to every space he serves—including the boardroom, the courtroom, and the community. He is committed to advancing justice through thoughtful advocacy, collaborative leadership, and inclusive decision-making. With broad interests in policy, advocacy, and systemic change, Aaron strives to create lasting impact across institutions and communities.
