The Southern University Law Center Chancellor Search Committee welcomes and encourages the participation and input of the entire Southern University community in the search for chancellor at its prestigious law school.  This website serves as a resource for interested parties to obtain information regarding the position and the application process.

The Southern University and A&M College System is the only Historically Black system of higher education in the nation. The System consists of academic institutions in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Shreveport, as well as law and agricultural centers located in Baton Rouge.   SULC is one of only six historically black law schools in the United States.  SULC also has produced more judges currently presiding within the state of Louisiana than any other law school. 

The successful applicant will serve as the chief executive officer of the Law Center and is responsible for the administration of all activities of the campus including, but not limited to, academic, financial, student, administrative affairs, and other support activities.
