Bayou Classic fans and ticket-holders are in for a treat! Rapper, record producer, and the original human beat-box, Doug E. Fresh (pictured left), will perform live for the all-new Bayou Classic pre-game Show. We have a rich history of legends on the field, and this year we're adding another one to the list!

Tickets for the 40th Annual Bayou Classic are on sale now. The Bayou Classic matchup between Grambling State University and Southern University, will take place Saturday, November 30, 2013 in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

National Hurricane Center forecasters expect Tropical Storm Karen to be near the central Gulf Coast on Saturday as a weak hurricane or tropical storm. A tropical storm watch is in effect from west of Grand Isle to east of Morgan City, an area that includes metropolitan New Orleans, Lake Maurepas, and Lake Ponchartrain.

At this time, we do not expect TS Karen to affect campus operations.
