Taking an aggressive step toward reaching out to the secondary education community to improve college readiness, Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Priestley School of Architecture and Construction on Friday, November 12, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Southern University and A&M College entered into a partnership with Guizhou University in China that will bring student exchange, scholarships, and research opportunities for SU and Ghizhou students as early as next year.

Southern University is inviting high school juniors, seniors, and their parents to an "Open House" on November 9 to get vital information about college entrance requirements, financial aid, and courses of study on the Baton Rouge campus.

The Southern University System recently received a contribution of $20,000 from Kellogg's Corporate Citizenship Fund. The contribution will be used for educational purposes throughout the University.
