SU Class of '64 grads to celebrate golden anniversary, May 8-9

Graduates of the Southern University Baton Rouge Class of 1964 are planning a golden anniversary celebration May 8-9, 2014.
The commemoration will be in conjunction with the University's Centennial Celebration for the Baton Rouge campus. The University was founded in New Orleans in 1880 and was relocated to Scott’s Bluff in Baton Rouge in 1914.
Board of Regents approves SUNO's plan to develop Doctor of Social Work Program

The Louisiana Board of Regents has approved a letter of intent from Southern University New Orleans (SUNO) to establish a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) Program. The degree program would fulfill a need in the profession and the region for an on-site advanced practice doctoral program in social work.
SU rehab gets $600,000 grant to develop program to assist troubled black students
